“I volunteer at the Rainbow Centre because I wish to have a positive impact on people’s lives, and it is a great opportunity to improve my communication skills. I enjoy interacting with the clients and it is a privilege to find out about their lives. The staff are really friendly, and it is great to see how they work with their colleagues and the clients. I especially enjoy being taught how to knit. My clients are brilliant and very patient with me”
